Bank In West Roxbury Targeted By Robber Dubbed "128 Bandit"

WEST ROXBURY, MA — A man who has been hitting up banks up and down Route 128 is now wanted by the FBI.
Dubbed the "128 Bandit" the suspect has robbed or attempted to rob 12 banks along the highway and in Boston. Officials told WFXT that the first case came in last May when he attempted a robbery at a Bank of American in Roslindale but left empty handed.
A year later, he made his first reported successful robbery at a Tremont Credit Union in Roslindale.

He has also been seen at banks in Boston, Chestnut Hill, Dedham, Waltham, Wellesley, and West Roxbury.
