Bazaar & Food Fair, Open Houses, Fall Festival in West Roxbury
A look at weekend events in and around West Roxbury.
- Deutsches Altenheim German Centre, the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association and Ethos-AgeWell West Roxbury will host a "Stand up for Seniors - Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates” forum with the at-Large candidates for Boston City Council. The forum will take place on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2 pm at Deutsches Altenheim German Centre Holtzer Auditorium, 2222 Centre Street in West Roxbury.
- A Fall Festival will be held Oct. 19 at the Centre Street YMCA and will include a variety of free fun events including pumpkin decorating, a hockey shootout, face painting and more offerings for the whole family.
- The 2013 A Taste of Roslindale – Around the World will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, from 6:30 – 9:00pm, at St. Nectarios Church, in the heart of Roslindale Village.
- The 37th annual Bazaar & Food Fair will run Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at St. George Orthodox Church at 55 Emmonsdale Rd.
- Roxbury Latin’s open houses will be held on Saturday, October 19, 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- The Catholic Memorial 2013 Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 20. The High School’s open house is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Middle School’s will be 2-4 p.m.
