Catholic Memorial Football Star Receives Major Honor

Jack McGowan, welcome to the All-State team.

WEST ROXBURY, MA – Catholic Memorial star Jack McGowan is getting one more high school accolade.

The linebacker was named to the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association, one of only 26 players to be honored.

McGowan netted 165 tackles – bringing his career total to 375 – and scored 10 touchdowns at wide receiver this season. He is a member of the National Honor Society and will play at Harvard.
