Chefs Table Foundation to Bring Oktober Fall Festival to West Roxbury
The German-themed will feature a live "oompah" German band, food and more.

Oktoberfest is coming to West Roxbury.
The Chefs Table Foundation will hold its first German-themed Oktober Fall Festival fundraiser later this month.

The event is set to run from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Irish Social Club of Boston, 119 Park St. in West Roxbury on Saturday, Oct. 25. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
The festival will feature live “oompah” German band The Daddio’s, as well as German cuisine, contests, entertainment and raffles, among other activities. Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional German-style clothing.

Tickets cost $25 per person in advance of $30 at the door, and can be purchased by contacting Carol O’Connor at caroloc@tablecritic.com.
Sam Adams has been listed as the official beer sponsor of the event, with the City of Boston Credit Union serving as the major “Munich” sponsor.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chefs Table Foundation, which provides culinary education to homeless U.S. veterans.
