A man and woman wanted in a string of robberies up and down Rt. 128 were arrested this week.

WEST ROXBURY, MA – A bank robbery suspect known as the "Route 128" bandit and his alleged accomplice were arrested this week, Boston police said Thursday. Paul Landrum, 48, of Dorchester, has been charged with armed robbery and various motor vehicle infractions. A second suspect, 36-year-old Tamea Chambers, is alleged to have robbed the East Boston Savings Bank on Oct. 17 and another bank in Brookline two days later.

Landrum and Chambers were taken into custody after a car matching the description of a possible suspect vehicle was found parked in the area of Perth and Fayston streets in Boston.
