West Roxbury Home Values to Go Up, Says Real Estate Forecasting Company

Good news for West Roxbury home owners, home values in the 02132 zip code are estimated to increase by +12.95% through February 2014, according to Pricing Nation, a residential real-estate forecasting company. 

Pricing Nation’s forecasts value should fall between +9.28% and +15.93%. This is the second highest increase in average values out of the 275 zip codes in the Boston Metropolitan Statistical Area, according to the US Census.

The primary local factor driving West Roxbury home values is a 41% decrease in home vacancies between June and Dec. of 2012, said Brian Ramirez, chief revenue officer for Pricing Nation. "Put simply, the decrease in available housing supply should increase the value of residential home values, as else remaining equal. The other primary factor behind the increase in values is the anticipated future business growth of the area’s major employers," said Ramirez

"Overall, these results should bring confidence to future West Roxbury home buyers with the knowledge that their home investments should be significantly more valuable 12 months from now," said Ramirez.
