West Roxbury Police Respond to Fatal Shooting in Hyde Park
One person was killed in the incident, police said.

The Boston Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in nearby Hyde Park Tuesday night.
The incident reportedly occurred at 226 Margaretta Dr. at 11:03 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, when Boston police officers from West Roxbury’s District E-5 station responded to a report of a shooting in the area.
Boston police said Thursday that one victim at the scene was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital.

A second victim sustained non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Beth Israel hospital for treatment.
“At this point the incident appears to be domestic in nature and not a random act,” Boston police said in a statement Thursday.
