West Roxbury Teen Charged In Shooting
Officers arrested 19-year-old Kyriece Wrice-Roulhac of West Roxbury Sunday night.

From the Boston Police Department:
At about 2:45 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2017, officers responded to a call for a Shotspotter activation in the area of 33 Kingsdale St. Upon arrival, officers observed a motor vehicle with very darkly tinted windows idling in the area. As officers canvassed the area looking for possible suspects and/or victims, they observed the silhouette of a person bending over inside the vehicle. Due to the nature of the call, officers believed the individual may be reaching for a weapon or may be injured inside the car. Officers made attempts to contact the individual by knocking on the window but received no response. Fearing for their safety and the safety of a potential victim inside the car, the officers then attempted to open the door of the vehicle. The individual inside responded by pulling the door closed. Officers struggled momentarily to open the door but were finally able to wrestle the door open and remove the occupant from the vehicle. Upon doing so officers observed one spent shell casing and one live round on the floor of the vehicle. A K-9 was summoned to the scene, and as a result, a loaded black semi-automatic firearm with obliterated serial number was recovered from the vehicle.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Kyriece Wrice-Roulhac of West Roxbury and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition (two counts), unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
