Yoga Organization Aims to Raise $500K for Children with April Event
The fifth annual New England Yogathon will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Dana Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium is hosting the fifth annual New England Yogathon on Sunday, April 26.
The event is presented by Yoga Reaches Out, a Boston-area charitable yoga organization that has helped raised more than $1,000,000 for Boston Children’s Hospital and other charities that support children in need.

This year, organizers are attempting to attract 1,200 participants and generate more than $500,000, to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital neuro-oncology unit and the anti-bullying organization Ben Speaks.
Yoga studios and individual yogis of all skill levels from around New England are forming teams to collectively raise money for the event.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendees will take part in yoga sessions led by Elena Brower, Jacqui Bonwell, Jake Bosse, Rebecca Pacheco, Robert Sedoti and other well-known New England instructors.
The 2015 New England Yogathon will also feature celebrity participants such as former New England Patriot Joe Andruzzi.
Between sessions, attendees can take part in food samplings, visit the marketplace and enjoy musical performances by East Forest, DJ Mantra, Alicia Mathewson and children’s singing group Open Fields.
