WESTWOOD, MA — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.
We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Wellesley so you can start planning now. Although Westwood does not have any annual 4th of July community fireworks shows, the town of Norwood holds a 4th of July Morning spectacular, and just a short drive east, the town of Braintree holds Braintree Day Fireworks on June 26.

Where: Braintree High School, 128 Town Street
When: 9:30 p.m., June 26

What: Norwood’s 4th of July Parade Spectacular
Where: The Parade will follow its usual route from the Coakley Middle School, down Washington Street, all the way to the Town Hall.
When: July 3 at 10 a.m.
