Age Well With HESSCO Day Coming Up On September 19 in Wrentham

HESSCO Elder Services, Inc. will hold its 15th Annual Fall Conference, Age Well with HESSCO Day, at Lake Pearl Luciano’s in Wrentham on Thursday September 19, 2019. Seniors, caregivers, family members, professionals and anyone interested in learning more about Aging Well are invited to attend this fun, relaxing, and enjoyable event. Doors open at 9:00 AM and the event concludes with a raffle at 2:00 PM.

Presenting Sponsor is Whitney Place Assisted Living. There are over 40 professional organizations and service providers that will take part in an exposition offering valuable information, resources, giveaways and wonderful raffle prizes to caregivers and seniors. There will be a Wellness Room featuring flu shots and various health screenings. The Relaxation Room sponsored by Dedham Savings, overlooking the beautiful courtyard, will offer chair massage and paraffin treatments to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. SHINE counseling(Medicare options) will be available. A Men’s caregiver support group is also planned.

Throughout the day guest speakers will offer ideas and tips on how to age well. These speakers cover the following prevailing topics: "Happy People Adapt to Change", "When it’s Time to Adapt Your Home", and "Busting Myths and Getting Savvy About Senior Living".

The fee to attend is $10.00 per person which includes admission to the conference, the relaxation room, the wellness room, raffle entry, continental breakfast and a buffet lunch.
