Assault After Person is Fired from Westwood Business

Friday, July 12

9:31 a.m.: A resident called the Westwood Police Department to report a past assault that occurred one hour before the call was placed as a result of a dispute from being terminated from a business. The officers asked that the victim call police. 

1:53 p.m.: Officers responded to a rear-end car crash at the intersection of High Street and Gay Street. 

4:04 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a loose dog but could not locate the animal.
