A Classy Touch Events Brings Princess Expo to Westwood
The Princess Expo on October 27 will include makeup, arts and crafts, and a surprise princess visit!
A Classy Touch Events will be holding a Princess Expo at the Courtyard Dedham/Westwood Hotel on October 27 at 12pm and 3pm. A Touch of Classy Events is the brainchild of Nishawnda Ellis Castillo.
“A Classy Touch Events is a premiere party planning service specializing in events for the entire family to enjoy. We not only plan events for the public but also personal events like children's birthday parties, milestone parties, anniversary parties, and special occasions. I started this business to help bring the magic and sparkle to party events because I love planning parties. As a mother of two girls, I have been planning parties for the last 12 years, and finally decided to share my talents with families who may not be the planning visionary type. The Princess Expo is the kick-off event for A Classy Touch Events this year,” she says. “In looking in the area, there were not many events like this, where kids got to transform into a princess for the day and meet one too! I also wanted to bring the boutique experience to the Boston area for families that may not be able to make it to Disney.”
The Princess Expo promises to include Makeup/glitter tattoos, nails, hair glitter/color extensions, arts and crafts, and a treat bag. No food will be served, although the treat bags will contain sweets. “These treat bags have a lot of magic packed inside them. What's a princess without her special treats to compliment her like wands, tiaras, sashes, jewelry[?]” Ellis Castillo said.
The advertising states that “a special surprise appearance by your favorite princess will occur.” Spoiler alert: Ellis Castillo revealed “We announced the princesses last week on the A Classy Touch Events Facebook page. Moana will be appearing at the 12pm session, and Belle will be appearing at the 3pm session.”
Tickets are $20 for the Deluxe Package or $25 for the Royal VIP Package for children ages two to twelve years old. Adults accompanying a child need not buy a ticket. “The Deluxe Princess package includes: makeup, nails, hair, arts and crafts, and a treat bag. The VIP princess package includes an additional tiara, wand and sash, plus priority service and character pictures,” explains Ellis Castillo.
Upcoming events put on by A Classy Touch Events will include "Breakfast with Santa and Friends" in December, and the Princess Expo will return in the spring.
