Council on Aging and Library Collaborate On "Book and A Bite"

Senior citizens can get a lunch through HESSCO and a book from the Westwood Public Library on Thursday mornings.

The Westwood Council On Aging and Westwood Public Library have created a new partnership to help senior citizens feel less isolated during this pandemic.

Every Thursday morning, seniors who would like to read a new book and enjoy a simple lunch (which includes a sandwich, chips, salad and a drink) provided by HESSCO Elder Services, can order their book (and lunch) with the library, and librarian Claire Connors home delivers it to them.
