Council on Aging Remains Closed, But Still Plans Events

Plenty of virtual events are going on, as well as other important events.

Although the Westwood Senior Center will remain closed through the end of 2020, they are continuing to plan events for Westwood's senior citizens:

  • If you are know a senior who needs a ride to the polls on November 3, please contact the Senior Center by Friday, October 30, 2020 in the morning.
  • If you are a senior who needs help with reduced-cost snow removal or heating assistance, call the Senior Center at (781) 329-8799 for resources.
  • A plethora of Zoom activities continue to be offered, including meditation, bereavement, cooking classes, and more. Call or email them at lcavanaugh@townhall.westwood.ma.us to join!
  • Having difficulty with isolation during COVID-19? Call the Senior Center and a member of the Board of Directors will call you.
  • Finally, if you are a senior who is struggling with food insecurity, contact HESSCO at 781-784-4944 for meal delivery.
