Dangerousness Hearing Next Week for Mullin

The woman arraigned in her hospital bed for assaulting her child with electric hedge clippers will have a dangerousness hearing next Monday, according to the District Attorney's office.

Maureen Mullin, of 126 Pond St, Westwood, was arrested after police responded to a domestic assault early Monday morning. She is charged with attempted murder, mayhem, assault and battery on a child, with injury, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. 

Mullin's hearing will be held on Monday, July 15, in Dedham District Court if she is physically able. Until then, Mullin has no conditions for release. At this time, she remains hospitalized.

No update is available on the condition of the child at this time and the age of the child is being withheld.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
