Massachusetts’ premiere open-air lifestyle center, Legacy Place, announces an exciting array of retail openings this fall including global design destination, West Elm, and Boston-based barber shop, Anfa Barber Shop. Legacy Place has a seasonal pop-up program, bringing four great local stores to the property in time for the 2020 holiday season, including local athletic legging sensation, Booty by Brabants; sports, art, and apparel store, I Love Boston Sports; Cape Cod beach brand Wears Woody; and women’s fashion specialist, Pretty Posh Boutique.

“Legacy Place continues to thrive. That is due, in large part, to our commitment to offering our guests a unique mix of must-shop destinations as well as forward thinking pop-ups. This fall’s openings represent some of the most beloved retail brands alongside local small businesses, and we’re thrilled to have them join Legacy’s diverse collection of retail and restaurants,” says Christa Seychew, General Manager of Legacy Place.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, West Elm focuses on the intersection of modern design, affordability and community, with the goal of helping consumers express their personal style. West Elm’s new Legacy Place showroom features the brand’s original furniture and home goods, 90% of which are designed in-house with special attention given to selecting organic, handcrafted, sustainably sourced and Fair Trade Certified™ products. The company mirrors Legacy Place’s affinity for art and design by supporting local artists, empowering store managers to tailor their own inventory and providing customers with access to complimentary personalized styling and design with West Elm’s Design Crew.

Kelly Brabants, founder of the wildly popular athleisure brand Booty by Brabants, brings her upbeat, city-girl energy and popular legging line back to Legacy Place for a seasonal pop-up store. Driven by Kelly’s genuine, burning passion for instilling confidence in women through her brand’s core message of self-love, the Boston-based brand’s versatile, one-size-fits-most fashion line features leggings, sports bras, shorts, jackets and more that stay true to Kelly’s personal style and Brazilian roots; other highlights include the BBB Kids legging line and a Curvy collection. With its chic, boutique-feel and tropical flare, the pop-up location boasts a beautiful and airy atmosphere that is safe and inviting. Customers will have access to exclusive in-store perks this holiday season.

Founded in 2010 in Boston, Anfa Barber Shop’s unique focus has always been to avoid the stigma of ridiculously priced hair salons seemingly found at every corner. Anfa, the ancient name of the modern city of Casablanca, Morocco, was built on a high cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by the city’s superior location, the shop’s barbers strive to deliver exceptional service to its customers every day.

I Love Boston Sports creates unique, cutting edge sports art and apparel. Its love for all sports is apparent in the store’s distinctive artisanal designs. I Love Boston Sports pushes the creative envelope and blurs the lines between sports and pop culture in order to delight sports fans and honor unforgettable moments in sports history. Its signature products have been featured on ESPN, FOX Sports, and grace the "man caves" of some of the world’s most favorite athletes.

On October 30, Legacy Place adds the ultimate beach brand, Wears Woody, to its pop-up collection. Originating on Cape Cod, Owner Mike Norwood got his start by parking his iconic Woody wagon near the ferry in Woods Hole, transforming it into a pop-up shop on wheels. The brand’s bold coastal style, and upscale yet casual apparel and accessories which pay homage to its namesake Woody, quickly caught on. Today, Wears Woody is a retail pioneer, specializing in “mill-to-market movement” sustainably sourced and locally manufactured goods all produced “on demand” in the company’s backyard in Everett, MA. As an added bonus, through Woody’s Drive Over Diabetes mission, Wears Woody donates 7% of every in-store and online sale to a group of non-profits that share in its determination to make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes and help fund a cure.

Recently voted as “Massachusetts Online Boutique of the Year” in the national 2020 Boutique Awards, Pretty Posh Boutique is excited to debut its first pop-up shop at Legacy Place starting on November 7. As a new shopping experience offering both trendy and affordable clothing for women, Pretty Posh will feature its Fall / Winter collection with inclusive ready-to-wear clothing, jewelry, handbags, and shoes, with more to come during the season.

With guest and staff safety at the forefront of its priorities, Legacy Place continues to maintain and uphold all sanitization and community safety practices. Guests and staff are required to wear face coverings while in stores and salons, as well as when checking into restaurants, prior to being seated, as recommended by the CDC and in keeping with local government guidance. To promote social distancing, visitors and employees are encouraged and reminded to remain six feet apart by way of helpful signage, and Legacy Place has adjusted all communal spaces throughout the property.
