Etsy Shops And Other Westwood-based Holiday Shopping #ShopLocal
Handcrafts, art, and small restaurants are all on this list.

A little bit ago, I posted on the Westwood Patch’s site looking for your Westwood-based Etsy shops and other small businesses.
- To begin with, the owners of Chiara Bistro popped into the thread. Their Italian restaurant is located across from Town Hall. They are open(as of this writing on November 19, 2020) for dine-in, take-out, and eating outside. Wine and beer is also available for take-out, and you can purchase Chiara blankets to stay warm while dining outside.
- The first Etsy shop I’m highlighting is Hokistrings. Owned by young Westwood sisters Ashley and Hayley Kutzer, this shop that takes its name from hokis (Armenian for soul) features handmade bracelets. Proceeds from Hokistrings benefit Women’s Support Center, a shelter for women escaping domestic violence in Yerevan, Armenia. Read more about Hokistrings.
- The Westwood Artists just held a physically-distant fair, but if you missed that, almost all artists have individual shops.
- Lisa B Walker’s shop features pottery.
- Pottery is also made by Jane Wojick.
- Kathy Zola sells fiber arts, including masks.
