In advance of Memorial Day, our town needs volunteers to help plant flags and flowers on veterans' graves next week.

Prior to Westwood, MA's traditional Memorial Day festivities, the Town Hall Veterans' Office seeks volunteers to help place flags and plant flowers by veterans' graves.

Did you know that the small flags put on veterans' graves in cemeteries in Westwood for Memorial Day are there all year? The annual flag replacement is scheduled for Wednesday May 22th at 1pm. Last year's flags will be removed and new flags will be put in their place.

Flowers are supplied by the Town of Westwood and planted next to the flags. This year's flowers will be planted on Saturday May 25th at 8:30am. Gardening tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
