FedEx Truck Rolls Over On I-95; Packages Tumble Out
It wasn't exactly Santa's sleigh crashing, but still a minor Christmas disaster on the interstate.
WESTWOOD, MA — It wasn't exactly Santa's sleigh crashing, but a FedEx truck rollover on I-95 Monday morning created a small disaster.
No one was injured when the truck turned on its roof, police said. The Westwood Fire Department later said their were minor injuries.
What is for certain is that several packages were strewn across the interstate in Westwood. It took crews - including FedEx Ground teams - a couple hours to remove the truck and clear the scene. The two right lanes of 95 were closed between exits 13 and 14.

"Package recipients in the Westwood area are being notified in their shipments are affected," FedEx said in a short statement.
