IAM Strong Foundation Now Accepting Grant Applications
Grant money available for programming and projects focusing on adolescent mental health

The IAM Strong Foundation, which seeks to shatter the stigma surrounding teen mental health struggles, is pleased to announce the Spring 2019 Grant Cycle. Grant applications will be accepted through April 1st. Grants will be awarded on or before May 1st.
The very first grant cycle for the IAM Strong Foundation was held in the fall of 2015, and grant cycles have continued twice a year since then. This past fall, four grants were awarded, to Doc Wayne Youth Services, to support their sports based youth therapy programs, to Millis Public Schools for a NEADS assistance dog, to Families for Depression Awareness, to support their teen depression program, and to the Town of Winchester, for the William James Interface Referral Service, which helps to facilitate access to resources and mental health services.
A total of 100,000 dollars in grants and programming has been awarded by the IAM Strong Foundation since the inception of the organization. Through their grant cycles, the IAM Strong Foundation seeks to continue to open the conversation about adolescent mental health, to provide support to those who are struggling, and to provide education for parents, teachers, and adolescents. Grant applications from all communities are welcome, and the IAM Strong Foundation will review applications for up to $10,000 or more per grant. Grant applicants must be non-profit organizations or affiliated individuals who share a vision that aligns with the values and mission of the IAM Strong Foundation. All applications must be received by April 1st, 2019, and applicants will be notified by May 1st. Grant applications and details about the grant process are available at www.iamstrongfoundation.org.
