Last Chance to Sign Up for the IAM Strong Foundation 5K
5K to benefit the IAM Strong Foundation, which seeks to shatter the stigma of mental health struggles in adolescents.
The IAM Strong Foundation 5K Run/Walk is in less than two weeks and will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 9:00 AM. The IAM Strong Foundation was created in February of 2015 and seeks to shatter the stigma of mental health struggles in adolescents.
The off road 5K will take place beginning at the Charles Flahive Field at Westwood High School. There will be a 1.5 mile route for those preferring a shorter option, as well as music, a silent auction, a raffle, and a special balloon release, to show how mental health has affected the lives of friends and loved ones. The previous 5K events have been positive, community building events for all ages and the IAM Strong Foundation is looking forward to hosting this year’s event.
