The Lawn at Legacy at Dedham's Legacy Place Is Back for 2019!

Legacy Place in Dedham's Lawn at Legacy is open for its second year. The pop-up green space this outdoor community space returns for a second year and along with it, a robust slate of over forty events devoted to fun, family and fitness taking place now through October. It is located by Boston Interiors and Il Massimo.

“We’re so thrilled to bring back The Lawn at Legacy for another season of can’t-miss events. The Lawn was such a big hit with the community last year we’ve been working hard all winter on putting together a great calendar of events for the warm weather season. On the daily, the lawn is also the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors between grabbing lunch at one of our amazing restaurants and shopping at our standout collection of retailers,” says Jessica Reed, Marketing Manager of Legacy Place.

To celebrate The Lawn at Legacy’s first week, guests are invited to attend a Popsicle Party on April 13 from 12:00PM ­– 2:00PM. Jamaica Plain's gourmet popsicle company, Wild Pops, will be there with creative and delicious flavors like Tamarind Thai Chili, Strawberry Mint and Dark Belgian Chocolate. Pops will be available for purchase and some guests may get an extra-sweet surprise as the first 100 pops will be complimentary. Guests will be also treated to a live DJ, giveaways and a special bubble performer.

The Lawn at Legacy will host a wide variety of events for all ages and interests, ranging from complimentary workouts led by premiere fitness studios to Yappy Hour get togethers for guests and their pups. The schedule also includes returning favorites like the sixth annual Taste of Legacy Place and Stroller Boot Camp, a full body workout designed for parents with little ones in tow. The summer months will bring Little Rockers, a kids music concert series, and August will bring back a fitness favorite, Barre & Brew.
