Legacy Place To Celebrate National Dog Day With Yappy Hour
Dedham's Legacy Place, known for its friendliness to dogs, will celebrate their day with the free August Yappy Hour on August 26.
The Lawn at Legacy at Dedham's Legacy Place will celebrate National Dog Day on August 26 with their August Yappy Hour. The free event will take place from 5:30pm-7:30pm and will feature entertainment for dogs and their owners. Citizens Bank is its sponsor, and Dedham-based dog rescue Shultz's Guest House will be there for those seeking a new canine companion.
“Yappy Hour is an ideal way for Legacy Place to close out summer while kicking off a slate of autumn events and activities. Our four-legged friends are an important part of our community and we’re thrilled to celebrate them with engaging events like Yappy Hour. What some people might not know, however, is that dogs can enjoy Legacy year round thanks to the pro-pooch partnership we have with our many dog-friendly retailers and restaurants," says Christa Seychew, General Manager of Legacy Place. Dog-friendly retailers at Legacy Place include lululemon, Amazon Books, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie. The patio at Aquitaine also welcomes dogs.
