New England Revolution Recognize Lauren Lenkaitis Raffoni of Westwood as the Honorary Captain
Lauren Lenkaitis Raffoni was honored by the New England Revolution during a pre-game ceremony as an Honorary Captain at Saturday's match.

WESTWOOD, MA - From the New England Revolution: The New England Revolution recognized Lauren Lenkaitis Raffoni from Westwood, MA as the team’s Honorary Captain at their home game on Saturday, September 23 against the Toronto FC. She was honored on-field during a pregame ceremony for her involvement with the Pan-Mass Challenge where she met Revolution defender/midfielder Chris Tierney and Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley, and performed the coin toss.
Lauren, a two-time Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) rider, has raised over $15,000 towards cancer research. This year, she has committed to riding 168 miles in two days across Massachusetts dedicated to her father who she lost to brain cancer in August.
