Postponed--Online Event Discussing Policing In Westwood

"Policing & Racial Justice in Westwood: A conversation with WPD Chief Silva" is sponsored by Inclusive Westwood and Neighbors in Action.

This event has been postponed. Watch this space for an update when it has been rescheduled.

On June 25, 2020 at 5pm, Neighbors in Action and Inclusive Westwood [link is to join their Google group] will host an interview with Westwood Police Chief Jeffrey Silva via Zoom. "Policing & Racial Justice in Westwood: A Conversation with Chief Silva" will begin with an interview discussing issues including transparency, accountability, biases, and areas for Westwood Police Department to improve. After this interview, people on the Zoom call will be able to ask Chief Silva questions.

The Zoom room for this meeting will open at 4:45pm. Westwoodians can sign up via the Eventbrite link.

Speaking of Black Lives Matter, if you missed the vigil last week, there will be a Stand Together for Racial Justice demonstration in Islington Center in Westwood this Saturday.
