Our Library Is As Important As Ever During COVID-19

I've joined Zoom knitting groups and read book via Overdrive for the Westwood Reads Together, Apart Challenge

Earlier this week, I saw the post on the Westwood Patch Westwood Reads Together, Apart: The 12 in 12 Book Challenge. Always up for a reading challenge, I checked it out. In addition to the challenge, Westwood Public Library is offering a number of events via Zoom.

I attended my first "Sit and Knit" through the Islington Library yesterday. It was great—although I was the only new member, I easily joined the conversation about our knitting projects, life under COVID-19, and other pleasantry. I'm also signed up for a book club chat on Little Women (one of my favorite books!) later this month.

The Westwood Reads Together, Apart: The 12 in 12 Book Challenge goes through July 5, 2020. I have already finished one book and am on my second. Remember that the library has subscriptions to Hoopla and Libby/Overdrive, where you can check out books for your tablet or Kindle. I love getting books through Overdrive on my Kindle.
