Roy London Humanitarian Award Nomination Forms Available Now
The award for Westwood residents who do good in our community is now open for nominations.

The tenth annual Roy London Humanitarian Award nominations forms are now available. The Roy London Humanitarian Award was founded in memory of the eponymous Westwood resident in 2010. Town Executive Assistant Christine McCarthy notes this award “casts a wide net [as to what actions make one eligible to it]. The person in the neighborhood everyone goes to for help or someone who shovels their neighbor's driveway [are people who might be eligible for this award].”
The nominee should be a Westwood resident who is an adult and demonstrates “leadership; exceptional service to the community; dedication; integrity; cooperation; diversity of service; volunteerism; impact on the town for an outside community commitment; and dedication to the Westwood community.” The deadline for this year’s Roy London Humanitarian Award is March 8, 2019.
Past recipients of this award include both organizations such as the Westwood Food Pantry and the I AM Strong Foundation, and individual citizens including Hannah Paterson and Todd Sullivan and Associates.
