School and Town Athletic Fields To Be Sprayed August 15-16

All school and recreation fields except the High School's Flahive Field or the Multi-purpose field will be sprayed with pesticides.

Westwood Public Schools sent a letter to parents on August 9 regarding Prescription Turf Services(TRUGREEN) spraying pesticides on all school and town athletic fields, exclusive of Flahive Field and the Multipurpose Field. Additionally, the middle and high school grounds will be sprayed and treated with fertilizer.

As such, all affected fields will be closed August 15 through August 19. Morrison Field will be closed from 12pm on August 16 to August 19.
