Westwood's branch of Rockland Trust Bank is sponsoring a "Shred Day" with Shred-It on November 21 from 9am-12pm. This event would be a great way to clear out old papers as tax season is soon. Here is a guide of when you can shred paperwork.

Paper that will be accepted for shredding include checks (even with carbon copies), medical bills, and credit card offers. However, plastic, metal, cardboard, and phone books will not be accepted.
