Do your 2019 New Year's Resolutions include volunteering or giving back to your community? Have a Hart Day Boston* (HAHDBoston) is ready and waiting for you. Their first event of 2019 will be at 1pm on January 12th at the Greater Boston Food Bank. To sign up, email Heather at HAHDBoston@gmail.com.
Have a Hart Day is an international volunteer organization that Youtuber, podcaster, and New York Times best-selling author Hannah Hart founded. Hart's eponymous 2013 "Hello Harto" tour included a service project at each stop. Boston's stop held a food drive for the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). HAHDBoston volunteered at the GBFB in 2014 and 2015. In March of 2016, the current captain took leadership and since then HAHDBoston has volunteered at the GBFB on a monthly basis.
To join HAHDBoston at their January 2019 event, you must be sixteen or older. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, closed-toed shoes, and tie up long hair. If you can't attend this event but want to join HAHDBoston in the future, feel free to follow them on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, or Instagram. Other awesome local opportunities can be found here to help you with your New Year's Resolution to volunteer.
