University Station's Panda Express in Westwood Open-UPDATE

The long-awaited Panda Express at University Station in Westwood is now open. It will have its Grand Opening on September 21, at 10:30 a.m. In celebration of this event, Panda Express plans to donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to the Town of Westwood’s Youth & Family Services.

“We are thrilled to be opening the Westwood community’s first Panda Express location,” said Cristina Barajas, multi-unit manager for Panda Express. “The Panda family looks forward to immersing Westwood locals in Panda Express favorites, such as Orange Chicken and fan-favorite Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, and serving the community for years to come.”

Panda Express calls its offerings "American Chinese food." Some of its signature dishes include Original Orange Chicken™, SweetFire Chicken Breast®, Honey Walnut Shrimp™, Shanghai Angus Steak™, and for a limited run, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast (made with organic honey). Much like many other restaurants found at University Station, Panda Express is a fast casual restaurant. Its ordering style is based in picking your entree, sides (such as chow mein or fried rice), and extras (such as eggrolls or cream cheese rangoon).
