Westwood Artists have two events coming up in September: a speaker on Marketing Essentials for Creatives focusing on Facebook, and a presence at Westwood Day. Any artist or artisan residing in Westwood is considered a “Westwood Artist” and encouraged to take part in their events and projects. Join Westwood Artists as an artist or a patron to hear about their sponsored shows, markets, and development workshops in Westwood by emailing westwoodartists@gmail.com or messaging them through their Facebook page.

On September 18 at 7pm, Tricia White of T. White Creations and the Norwood Space Center, will be back at the Westwood Public Library on High Street showing how Facebook can be an effective marketing and branding tool for creative entrepreneurs. The workshop is free and open to the public. Tickets are here. Westwood Artists will have a networking table as well, so bring business cards and informational flyers to share with other attendees.

Westwood Artists will be at Westwood Day on September 21 from 10am-3pm. Five Westwood Artists will be in the Vendor Village. They will display and sell ceramics, photography, watercolors, and fiber things. Please top by, say hi, check out what’s new, and support them with a back-to-school or pre-holiday purchase. (Don’t forget Westwood Artists will have a market during Westwood Weekend Stroll in December!)
