Varsity Girls' Hockey Holding “Blue Bows for Quinn” Fundraiser
The WHS' Varsity Girls' Hockey team's fundraiser in memory of late alumna Quinn Dyson benefits Canton's Journey Forward.

The week of January 18, 2021 is the final week to place an order for the Westwood High School’s Girls’ Hockey Team’s “Blue Bows for Quinn” fundraiser for Journey Forward. The fundraiser honors Quinn Dyson. Dyson, a 2019 Westwood High School graduate and Varsity Hockey player, passed away in July of last year.
“Quinn's favorite color was blue and when she passed there were Blue Bows distributed around town. We felt it was a wonderful memorial of her and we added small blue butterflies to each bow,” explains Head Hockey Coach Lauren Hillberg, WHS ‘09. The kits can be ordered by emailing the forms below to Hillberg at hillberg.lauren@gmail.com.
“In the years past, the team has been involved in several charity events. Attending Boston Bear Cubs practices on Saturdays, a charity game for [Westwood’s] "I Am strong" foundation, visits to Rosie's Place, Build-a-Bears to children in the hospital...community and giving back has been a big part of this team and will continue to be,” says Hillberg.

We provide an intense, exercise-based program working to achieve some of the most basic lifelong functions and benefits for our clients. Exercise is important to everyone and even more so for those living with paralysis.”
“We thank everyone deeply for their support in the fundraiser and keeping Quinn and the Dyson family in their thoughts,” Hillberg concludes.
