WESTWOOD, MA — Police identified the victim in Wednesday's fatal crash in Westwood as Joseph G. Boran, 62, of Boston. The crash happened on Wednesday morning on I-95 near the Dedham town line.
Boran was driving a pickup truck when the crash happened and was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. State police identified the other driver as a 40-year-old man from Nashua, N.H. He was taken to Norwood Medical Center after the crash for evaluation but was released. Police said he was driving a Jeep at the time of the crash.
The cause is still under investigation — police have not released whether any charges will be filed.
