Westwood Accepting Applications For Public Service Award
The John J. Cronin Public Service Award highlights leaders who serve Westwood through volunteerism.
WESTWOOD, MA — Westwood is accepting applications for the John J. Cronin Public Service Award.
The award was named after John J. Cronin, the former town treasurer who dedicated countless hours in Westwood volunteering and serving the community. Criteria for the award include:
- Leadership
- Exceptional service to the community
- Years of dedication
- Strong work ethic
- Diversity of service
- Volunteerism
- Dedication to the Westwood community
Nominations are being accepted until March 8. The award will be presented at the 2021 Annual Town Meeting, scheduled for May 3. The nomination form is available online.
