Westwood Artists' Fourth Annual December Marketplace
Held during inaugural Westwood Weekend Stroll

As part of Westwood’s inaugural Weekend Stroll, Westwood Artists will hold their fourth annual December Marketplace on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at the Historical Society’s charming Fisher School. The Fisher School is at 830 High Street across from St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church and next to the Thurston Middle School. Friday hours will be 3:30 - 7:00 PM and Saturday hours from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
This show will feature a wide variety of artisanal products including pottery by Jane Wojick, photography by Karen Flowers Cagan, watercolor and mixed media by Carol Ahearn, knitting and weaving by Kathy Zola, pottery by Lisa WB Walker, jewelry and photography by Melanie Guerra, oil painting by Maureen Obey, Welsh cakes from Copper Kettle Bakery, Westwood’s own Whim chocolate, fused glass jewelry by Marilyn Brier, blown glass by Kevin Becker, and bird feeders from the Fox Hill Garden Club.
This event culminates a year of visual arts and professional development activities within the Westwood community. The Westwood library hosted a gallery show during the month of March as well as a presentation on Digital Marketing for Creative Entrepreneurs by Tricia White from the Norwood Space Center. As part of ArtWeek last spring, Westwood Artists participated in the Radiant Westwood event organized by the Westwood Media Center. September brought Westwood Day and another professional development workshop by Tricia White focused on using FaceBook as a marketing and branding tool.
