Westwood Community Chest To Hold Bootcamp on Thanksgiving

Westwood Community Chest's* (WCC) annual Thanksgiving bootcamp fundraiser, hosted by Core Asset Fitness of Westwood, will be held at 8am on November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving). This year, the event is indoors at Compete Sports at 576 Pleasant St. Norwood, MA. (Happily ensuring it won't be too cold this year).

Westwood Community Chest is a Westwood-based nonprofit that lives up to its tagline of "neighbors helping neighbors." Its funds are distributed to Westwood residents for reasons such as summer camp fees for parents without childcare, utility bills for the elderly, medical costs for children, and those who have lost their jobs and need financial assistance. All applications to WCC are confidential.

The suggested donation to participate in the bootcamp is $20, with all proceeds going to WCC. Participants are asked to bring their own mats, weights, and water.
