Westwood Implements Mandatory Water Restrictions

The restrictions limit watering to two days per week.

WESTWOOD, MA — Westwood put in place mandatory water restrictions across town.

The town announced on Tuesday that residents will only be allowed watering time two days per week. The watering times are between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The water restriction include the town of Dedham as well in the two-day rule:

Mondays, Thursdays - Dedham
Tuesdays, Fridays - Westwood

No lawn watering is allowed on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Hand held hoses may be used for flower and vegetable gardens without hour or day restrictions.
