Westwood Resident to be in “Disaster”

1970's Inspired Musical to Play Foxboro's The Un-Common Theatre Company this July

Recent Westwood High School graduate Michael Lahiff will be appearing in Foxboro-based The Un-Common Theatre Company’s performance of Disaster in July. The musical will be performed on July 19th at 7:30 pm, July 20th at 7:30 pm, July 21st at 7:30 pm, and July 22nd at 2:00 pm at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro, MA.

Lahiff has also been on The Uncommon Theatre Company’s stage earlier this season as George Banks in Mary Poppins. He played “The Man in the Chair” in Westwood High School’s Production of The Drowsy Chaperone this spring.

Disaster is a jukebox musical set in 1979. A floating disco and casino combination sets sail on its maiden voyage, filled to the brim with a bevy of characters. Lahiff will play Chad, a waiter whose songs include “Hot Stuff” and “Feelings.”
