Westwood Rotary To Host Breakfast With The Bunny April 7

The fundraiser will have the Easter Bunny, face painting, breakfast, and a guitarist. The WYWC Easter Egg Hunt will happen afterward.

Westwood Rotary will hold its annual "Breakfast with the Bunny" on April 7 from 8:30am-11:30am. The Westwood Young Women's Club (WYWC)'s annual egg hunt will be the same day from 11am-12pm.

"It's a great young family event," says Westwood Rotary President Helena Drolette, "but grandparents also bring their grandchildren. It's great for all ages!" At Breakfast with the Bunny, the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures and also have treats for all children in attendance. This year, in addition to the Easter Bunny, Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse are also attending breakfast. Other entertainment includes face painting and a guitarist for young children. The breakfast itself is prepared by a chef from Fox Hill Village and is more than just pancakes, although Drolette reports that the blueberry pancakes are "to die for!" The $7 per person entrance fee covers food and entertainment.

Breakfast with the Bunny is Westwood Rotary's main fundraiser. Their philanthropic efforts include funding scholarships for high school sophomores to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program, and providing support for the R.A.Y award.
