Westwood Seniors Go To Boston's Chinatown

Seniors learned about Chinatown's history, tried foods, and enjoyed dim sum thanks to chef Roberta Hing.

The Westwood Council on Aging hosted a daylong adventure to Boston’s Chinatown on October 23. Tour guide and chef, Roberta Hing, gave a talk on Chinatown’s history. The talk was followed by a tour of local cuisine and stops at a bakery and an herb shop. T group then headed to a local restaurant where they enjoyed a dim sun lunch.

The tour ended with a trip to a local grocery store where Roberta explained how to use Asian foods in cooking.
