Westwood Sisters’ Bracelet Company Is a Great Place To #ShopSmall

Loved by celebrities, Sisco + Berluti bracelets make a great holiday gift.

Lisa Sisco and Carolyn Berluti, the two Westwood sisters behind Sisco + Berluti bracelets, hand-make them here in Westwood. The stackable beaded bracelets and accent bracelets have been seen in Oprah magazine, Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, and on celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Jessica Alba, “Oprah's staff selected the bracelets from a showroom in New York City which promoted our brand. That exposure along with the many magazine and celebrity placements helped to make our brand nationally recognized,” says Berluti of the company’s Oprah debut.

Sisco + Berluti has a strong altruistic arm. “Carolyn and I are very committed to using the company to contribute to charitable organizations. You can see them here. We have several collections in addition to I Am Strong designed to benefit the following organizations:

FORCE, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, which is an organization geared toward education and research into hereditary cancers.
Family Promise, which works to help homeless and low-income families.
Dana Farber Cancer Institute

In addition, we regularly donate products for fundraising organizations including Westwood Performing Arts, The Jimmy Fund and a host of other benefits.” As mentioned above, Dana-Farber’s Holiday Cards & Gifts collection includes a Sisco + Berluti set.

“We thought for a while that it might be a limited time trend, but over the years we have learned that it is here to stay,” says Berluti of the arm candy/stackable bracelet which is the brand’s signature. “That is primarily because the bracelets are so collectible and they are easy to wear and create personalized stacks that really accessorize any outfit. We have customers that look forward to our new designs and collect new colors and designs.”

This Sunday, December 16, from 2pm-4pm Sisco + Berluti will be hosting a shopping event in their studio in Westwood. “We believe that a primary contributor to our success is the Westwood and surrounding communities who have been loyal customers for many years, so we like to give back by offering a fun afternoon of shopping. The event is a way to give our local customers access to our special collections for some last minute holiday shopping and enjoy some light hors d'Oeuvres . It will be held in our Westwood Studio at 555 High Street,” Berluti explains of Sunday’s event.

“We have a studio here in Westwood and all of the bracelets are made to order by us and our small local team. We source the beads from all over the world, design collections, photograph them and fill all orders here. We have the bracelets in a few boutiques, but our business has developed to be primarily online.”
