Westwood's Frangiosa and Dunlay Among Artists Selected

Both were chosen to decorate guitars for Music Drives Us' public art installation "GuitART"

Two artists from Westwood, Alexandra Frangiosa and Thomas Dunlay , were selected as participants to decorate guitars for Ernie Boch Jr's Music Drives Us Charity's first public art installation. The GuiTART guitars will be placed throughout Norwood in the fall, and "proceeds collected from the sale of the guitars to support music education programs throughout the six states of New England, including donating a portion of the proceeds to the Norwood Schools Fine Arts Department to support its Music Program ." Both artists will also receive a $500 stipend.

Frangiosa's guitar will focus on nature. She is a 2016 graduate of Stonehill College who is currently working for Morgan Horse Magazine. Dunlay 's profile does not say what his piece will focus on, but he is well-known for his Boston winterscapes and Nantucket summerscapes.
