Where Can I Donate Clothes near Westwood?

With the closing of Westwood's long-standing thrift shop Glad Rags at the beginning of the year, new places to donate clothes are needed.

Glad Rags closed at the beginning of this year, leaving Westwood residents who are spring cleaning or have growing children in search of a place to donate their old clothes. Here are three possibilities:

  • The First Baptist Church of Westwood has partnered with St. Pauly Textile to collect clothing and other goods such as blankets and stuffed animals.
  • Savers in Norwood is a for-profit thrift store; however, it reports that it supports the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. Once again, they accept household goods as well as clothing.
  • There are several Planet Aid boxes in Norwood and other neighboring towns.

Where have you been donating clothes? Is there a place I missed? Let me know in the comments below. Also, please share this article with your friends and neighbors.
