WESTWOOD, MA — Holiday cleanup doesn't have to be a holiday headache.

Westwood has organized Christmas tree and holiday cardboard dump.

The holiday dumpster to dispose of excess holiday cardboard will be located at 50 Carby Street. No trash, wrapping paper, twist ties, peanuts or styrofoam will be accepted. Anything other than cardboard will contaminate the dumpster, the town said. The holiday cardboard dumpster will be available for use:

  • Dec. 28th, 29th & 30th 2020: 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.
  • Dec. 31, 2020: 7 am.- 11:30 a.m.
  • January 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th 2021: 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Christmas tree pickup will be held from Jan. 4 to the 15th. Have your Christmas trees at curbside by 7 a.m. on your regular scheduled trash pickup day. All trees must be free of plastic bags, stands, ornaments/hooks, tinsel and all other materials to be acceptable for collection.
