Dog License Deadline Approaching In Weymouth

WEYMOUTH, MA — Dog licenses are available in Weymouth. The deadline to register a dog in the town without having to pay a late fine is Feb. 28.

Dog licenses must be renewed between Jan. 2 and Feb. 28 to avoid the fine. Those requesting a license after Feb. 28 will be assessed a $10 late fee. Any licensed renewed from April 1 through Dec. 31 is required to pay $25 in addition to the license fee.

Cost for a license is $10 for spayed or neutered dogs and $15 for those that are not. Questions regarding fees, and other license queries, should be directed to the clerk's office at 781-335-2000.
