Expect Delays From Weymouth Landing Construction
Work that is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning is expected to run three to four week and includes alternating lane restrictions.
WEYMOUTH, MA — Weymouth traffic could be trickier than normal for the next three to four weeks due to Weymouth Landing construction set to begin on Wednesday. The project will begin at 6 a.m. and consist of three phases near Washington Street and Route 53.
In Phase 1, the right northbound lane will be taken for construction. In the morning, there were will be two lanes going north. In the afternoon, the traffic pattern will reverse with two lanes going south and one north. The sidewalk will be closed in the area and the MBTA stop will be inaccessible.
In Phase 2, the project will move to the center of the road with the same lane restrictions as Phase 1.
