Fatal Stabbing In Weymouth On Colonels Drive: Norfolk DA

WEYMOUTH, MA — A 19-year-old man found stabbed in a wooded area near Colonels Drive Thursday night has died.

The Norfolk County District Attorney's Office Friday night identified the victim as Ryan Martin. The DA's office said the attacker was someone known to Martin.

Weymouth police responded to the report of a stabbing at about 10:15 Thursday night, the DA's office said. Martin was pronounced dead at South Shore Hospital.

Weymouth police and Massachusetts State Police detectives from the DA's office are conducting an investigation. The DA's office said there is no reason to believe there is a danger to the public.
