Ghostbusters Filming in Weymouth
Scenes for the movie will be filmed at the new movie studio at SouthField.

This week, workers were at a hangar at the former air naval base constructing the set for the remake of the hit 1984 comedy starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth.
LStar president Kyle Corkum told NECN that the building was originally going to be used for indoor sports, but a few days after LStar Management purchased the property, Columbia Pictures called to inquire about using it as a movie studio.

About $500,000 has been invested repairs for the hangar.
